We’re nearing completion of Wind River Apartments We’re nearing completion of Wind River Apartments Phase III for the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde, Oregon. This affordable housing community includes 45 apartment units across 10 two-story buildings and features skylights, air conditioning, and solar panels. It has been a pleasure working with the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde, and we’re proud to help build quality housing that will serve the community for many years to come.

Todd Construction marks its 84th anniversary today Todd Construction marks its 84th anniversary today. That means our general contracting company has been in business under 14 U.S. presidents, it’s survived 13 U.S. recessions, and it’s seen the U.S. population more than double, from about 135 million people to our current population of 342 million. So much has changed in 84 years, but our dedication to high-quality craftsmanship remains the same. Today, we salute our founder John Duncan Todd and we are proud to have two of his grandchildren, Anna Todd and Andy Turner, managing successful projects and helping keep the company moving forward.

The new three-building affordable housing development in Portland’s Hillsdale neighborhood will add 149 affordable homes. The project will serve households across a range of income levels and include shared community spaces. The development is expected to be completed in late 2027. We look forward to working with GLAS Architects on this project that will provide designated space for band, choir, and theater students. The 12,000 SF auditorium will seat 310 to 325 people. A recent visit to the Overlook Platform at Multnom A recent visit to the Overlook Platform at Multnomah Falls reminded us how challenging it was to build. Our Superintendent Harv Wingerd hired a helicopter to airlift the materials to the site at the top of falls. We also built a shoring system to reinforce the embankment, and performed renovations inside and outside the lodge. As Multnomah Falls celebrates its 100th anniversary this year, we continue to treasure working at Oregon’s most popular tourist destination while keeping it open for visitors.

Students returning to @georgefoxuniversity this fa Students returning to @georgefoxuniversity this fall will have a new building where they can exercise their creativity and produce works of art. We completed the Art and Cinematic Arts Building last week and turned it over to the university to furnish. The 12,800-square-foot building, designed by Soderstrom Architects of Portland, has labs for ceramics, glass and 3D sculpture, a 66-seat theater, gallery space, and an outdoor courtyard that can double as a workspace. It was a privilege to complete our 17th project for GFU.

Some seniors just got the keys to their new homes Some seniors just got the keys to their new homes at Willamette View. We have completed the first of five Heron Heights single-story duplexes and they’re move-in ready. The new residents got to choose from a variety of finishes and upgrades to make their homes uniquely theirs. Each cottage has 1,900 square feet of living space, an attached garage, covered patio and fireplace. They have energy-efficient lighting, appliances and heat pumps. Customized closets, a built-in wine refrigerator and beautiful wood cabinetry are other amenities. It’s been great working with Ankrom Moisan architects to add these new homes to the campus of Willamette View. @ankrommoisan @willametteview
The impressive size of the Siletz Recreation and W The impressive size of the Siletz Recreation and Wellness Center is becoming more apparent. We’ve now poured the concrete slab for the 47,500-square-foot facility. Work will continue throughout this year. Completion is expected in the spring of 2026. We’re thrilled to be building this new gym for the use of the Confederated Tribes of the Siletz Indians.
The Felida Park Senior Housing project in Vancouve The Felida Park Senior Housing project in Vancouver was recognized by The Messenger magazine of Clark County. This new development by Specialized Housing, Inc. will offer affordable housing and many amenities for low-income seniors. There will be 65 units with 1-2 bedroom options, access to a large garden, fire pits, and walking paths. Additionally, a PACE facility will be located in the building for easy access for residents. SHI pursues projects that provide homes for those with disabilities and/ or low income. We are proud to be a part of this project that can assist so many people in need.
