Project Description

A new 600-seat theatre is coming to Wilsonville High School with the addition of a 29,000-square-foot auditorium. It will feature a balcony, stage, scene shop, dressing rooms, orchestra pit, storage and two elevators.

The school’s existing stage will be converted to a Black Box Theater, and the existing theater will become a robotics lab and general instructional space and storage.

The auditorium is being added at the front of the school near the main entrance off Wilsonville Road. A large heritage white oak on the site is being protected and preserved.

This project also includes a new north parking lot, a new synthetic turf softball field with field lights, and new connector roads for cars and pedestrians. The softball field was ready for spring 2023 games and the new auditorium is expected to host its first performance in late spring 2023.

The entire project is scheduled for completion in fall 2023.

The project is funded by a bond levy approved by voters in 2019.

This is the 13th project we’ve built for the West Linn-Wilsonville School District. Todd also renovated the district’s historic Administration Building.
