Project Description

A grain conveyor and ship loaders were demolished over water at Berth 401 for the Port of Portland. The work was performed with two water cranes on two barges piloted and secured by tugs. Onshore, Todd was tasked with demolition of overhead conveyor structures, towers, and conveyance equipment from Berth 401 to the grain silos. This work was done with two land crawler cranes.

The project also involved installation of a new steel bridge and construction of an elevated structural steel liquid bulk commodities rack. Asphalt roadways and landscaping were restored and new security fencing was installed.
