Project Description

The Continuing Care Unit at Willamette View Health Center has been refreshed and is now known as The Neighborhoods. Most prominent to those driving by is the new main entrance and exterior of the structure. A stucco-look siding system with better insulation replaced the plank siding and then we applied a fresh coat of paint.

On the inside, the resident rooms were made more comfortable and efficient with upgrades to the heating, air conditioning and plumbing.  The building received new windows, LED lighting, carpet, ceiling tiles and paint as well.

Once all of the rooms were improved, the Todd team moved on to upgrade the four kitchens to a new design that made more sense for the staff and residents. New Energy Star efficient appliances were installed

One of The Neighborhoods’ most significant aspects is the addition of another patient room between the existing skybridge and the building. That increases the capacity in the center’s skilled nursing unit.

The work took place while the senior living facility remained occupied. It involved 45 assisted living rooms, 15 memory care units and six rooms in the Skilled Nursing Center.

Todd Construction also built Heron Heights, an expansion on the Willamette View Community campus across River Road from the main facility. The development offers modern duplex cottages to expand the options for independent living.
