Project Description
The Continuing Care Unit at Willamette View Health Center is receiving a refresh. Most prominent to those driving by is the new main entrance and exterior of the structure. A stucco-look siding system replaced the plank siding.
On the inside, the rooms have been made more comfortable and efficient with upgrades to the mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems. The building received new windows, lighting, carpet, ceiling tiles and paint as well.
Some of the common areas, such as the kitchen, will see improvements next.
One of the project’s most significant aspects is the addition of another patient room between the existing skybridge and the building. That increases the capacity in the facility’s skilled nursing unit.
The work is taking place while the senior living facility remains occupied. It involves 45 assisted living rooms, 15 memory care units and six rooms in the Skilled Nursing Center.
Todd Construction is also working on the Willamette View Community Expansion, where 10 modern duplex cottages are being added across River Road from the main facility. The new development will be known as Heron Heights.
