Project Description
Todd Construction was privileged to build the state’s first retirement home for Oregon’s military veterans, who sacrificed their lives to preserve American freedom.
The long-term, skilled care facility provides around-the-clock care for up to 151 residents.
The structure is comprised of four wings. Each wing contains one- and two-patient rooms, central dining and laundry facilities and a TV room/day lounge.
One wing has been designated for the care of Alzheimer’s patients.
The building is woodframed with metal roofing and cedar siding. Extensive landscaping is featured throughout, including two garden areas.
The veterans home has a spectacular view of Oregon’s Columbia River Gorge and the Southwestern Washington mountains.
