Project Description
A more extensive space in which George Fox University students can interact through athletic, leadership and club activities opened in the fall of 2018.
The 49,000-square-foot Student Activity Center consists of two stories of wood and tilt-up concrete construction. The center includes three basketball/volleyball courts, an elevated indoor running track, rock climbing wall, two movement studios, student lounge and a fitness center overlooking Hess Creek Canyon. About 4,400 square feet of the building is reserved for office space for student government and clubs.
The center, dedicated in August 2018, was named the Bob and Camille Hadlock Student Center in honor of notable alumni who met at the university. The basketball courts are named for the late Willie Stoffer, a former student and diehard supporter of George Fox athletics.
Second-generation Todd Superintendent Dean Crone and Project Manager Anna Todd, granddaughter of Todd Construction’s founder, were our on-site project team, along with Foreman Josh Towne.
