Professionals Pursuing the Perfect Project
Our vast array of successful, distinctive projects grew out of a company started in 1942 in Roseburg, Oregon. As Oregon’s timber industry began to take off, founder John D. Todd built a sawmill and 50 homes for lumber company employees in Roseburg. Soon the company was building schools, government facilities, commercial establishments and more across the state.
In 1970, son John R. Todd joined the family business and the company continued to grow, taking on projects across the Northwest. In 1987, Todd Construction moved its headquarters to Tualatin. By that time, Brent Schafer had become part of the Todd Construction team. Starting his career as an estimator, Brent worked his way up, was named President of Todd Construction in 2001 and is now CEO.
