Project Description
This 20,169 square foot building includes a room that houses a 13,000 lb. linear accelerator used for radiation treatment of cancer. The structure of this room is massive with 2′ thick concrete walls and floor and a 5′ thick concrete ceiling. The room also has a special lead door and frame all designed to keep the radiation within the confines of the room.
