Spectacular views of Mount Hood and Bull Run Reservoir can be had from the new 7,580-square-foot lodge and dining hall at Camp Howard, where the Catholic Youth Organization provides weeklong summer camps, and leases the space for Outdoor School and other events.
The new building, named Mary’s Lodge at Camp Howard, offers a kitchen, indoor and outdoor dining, expanded food storage, restrooms, staff break room, hand-washing stations and enhanced meeting space at the 245-acre camp. It accommodates 540 campers – more than twice as many as the previous Gimpl Hall.
